Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition

The China Children’s Week 2012 – “Little Artists Big Dreams Drawing Competition” was held on 11 February 2012 (Saturday) at Central Lawn, Victoria Park, Causeway Bay. With the full support from Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, this year’s event aims at raising funds to support rebuild and education projects for children in Yushu of Qinghai.

Yushu was worst hit by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in 2010. The earthquake has severely affected 68 schools in the area, involving 24,448 students and 1,148 teachers. 37.26% of school buildings in the county were destroyed, nonetheless, all the other 62.74% were at risk.

Not only participants can raise funds for the unfortunate children in Yushu, but they can also use creativity to tell the world the utopia of their own through drawings. Over 2,000 children aged 12 or below shared their dream home hometown with us and helped the needy children and women in Yushu to rebuild their home.
