Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF 2011
Halloween is coming! How are you going to celebrate this year?

‘Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’, adapted from the tradition of Halloween, is a meaningful and fun festive activity for many kids in North America. They carry our little donation boxes, visit their neighbours door-to-door and ask for donation instead of candies, in the hope of raising funds for children in need around the world.
‘Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’ was held in Hong Kong every year in the past decade. This year, we join hands with Toys “R” Us again to organize this event. All funds raised will be used to help rebuilding lives of children in Yushu of Qinghai.
This event includes ‘Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’ school fundraising activity, and ‘Halloween Trick-R-Treat Party for UNICEF’. Invitation letters and posters have been sent out to kindergartens, primary schools and learning centers. For teachers and parents, please encourage your students and children to take part in such meaningful charity event, through which their compassion and empathy can be nurtured.
For individual family whose kids would like to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, you can pick up the little donation boxes on October 1, 2, 9 or 16, from 2-5 pm, at any of the following Toys “R” Us shops: Windsor House Causeway Bay, Ocean Terminal Tsim Sha Tsui, New Town Plaza Shatin, Megabox Kowloon Bay and Festival Walk Kowloon Tong.
