As "Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF Ambassadors" since 2001
Kelly Chen was appointed as the "Ambassador of China Children's Health" by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF in November 1999 to arouse public awareness on health problems faced by the children in mainland China. She has devoted her efforts and time to support UNICEF. The Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF had formally appointed her as the "Ambassador of Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF" in 2001.
