As "Children In War Ambassador" in 2000
As "Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF Ambassadors" since 2001

Mr. Daniel Chan, as the renowned artiste and pop singer. He has been actively participating in many advocacy and fundraising programmes organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF. He was appointed as the "Children In War Ambassador" of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF in June 2000 to arouse public awareness on the sufferings of the children in war. The Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF had formally appointed Mr. Daniel Chan as the "Ambassador of Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF" since August 2001.

Field Visit to India 2001

Daniel visited India with UNICEF after earthquake to understand the living conditions of children and women there.


Field Visit to Ethiopia 2001

At high times of starvation in Ethiopia, Daniel flew there to deliver resources to children in urgent need.


Field Visit to Yugoslavia 2000

After Daniel’s visit to Yugoslavia, he hoped to bring the message of tell the Hong Kong public about the serious problem of child soldier there.
