Ms. Miriam Yeung, a renowned singer in Hong Kong, was appointed as “AIDS Caring Ambassador of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF” in Dec 2004 and was appointed as “Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF Ambassador” in May 2005. She has been actively participating in many advocacies and fundraising programmes organized by the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF.

Field Visit to Shanxi, China 2005

Miriam joined UNICEF in a field trip to Shanxi, China in March 2005 to visit the children orphaned by HIV/AIDS and study UNICEF’s efforts in help the AIDS families there.
