'COVID19 Emergency Action' Monthly Donation Programme
Your long-term and stable support will help UNICEF deliver life-saving health supplies in times of emergency, build water and hygiene facilities that promote long-term development of under-resourced communities, and keep girls and boys connected to education, nutrition and protection. This include water purification tablets, jerry cans, hygiene kits, education and recreation kits. (In the unusual event that donations for the COVID-19 emergency exceed the needs, we will direct the gift to support children in crises.)
Emergency Response to explosion in Lebanon
More than 100 people killed, 4,000 injured and 300,000 displaced by the explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. The catastrophe adds to what has already been a terrible crisis for the children and people of Lebanon, compounded by an economic collapse and a surge in COVID-19 cases. The pandemic already meant that hospitals are overwhelmed, and front-line workers are exhausted. They are now facing the shortage of medical & relief supplies, and the psycho-social support in urgent needs. Please support the children and families affected by the accident immediately. (In the unusual event that donations for the Emergency Response to explosion in Lebanon exceed the needs, we will direct the gift to support children in crises. )
'Friends of UNICEF' Monthly Donation Programme
'Friends of UNICEF' Monthly Donation Programme makes an enduring commitment to the world’s children. Your monthly donation empowers UNICEF to plan long-term programmes and to equip every child with the best start in life. Instead of just supporting a single child in a single community, your donation helps thousands of needy children in areas of child survival, basic education, child protection, fighting HIV/AIDS and emergencies preparedness in over 150 developing countries.
COVID19 Emergency Action
UNICEF HK launched an emergency action entitled 「童你抗疫」衞生行動 ‘for every child, hygiene’, providing toilet disinfection service, delivering hygiene packs, and disseminating educational resources on personal and household hygiene to 10,000 grassroots families living in subdivided flats. This action aims to strengthen their awareness on hygienic home environment, in particular toilet sanitation, to prevent and control diseases and safeguard the health of disadvantaged children and their families. Globally, UNICEF is addressing the outbreak by focusing its efforts to support China and the countries with confirmed cases in East Asia and the Pacific region, in containing the spread of the virus. Since January, UNICEF has flown in over 30 tonnes of supplies, including protective suits, masks, goggles and gloves. At the moment, UNICEF urgently appeals for US$651 million to support its global response to the outbreak. Please donate generously. (In the unusual event that donations for the COVID-19 emergency exceed the needs, we will direct the gift to support children in crises.)
Children in Crises
provides assistance to thousands of children living in natural disasters and crises.
'China Children's Health Fund' Monthly Donation Programme
'China Children’s Health Fund' Monthly Donation Programme was launched in 1999. It aims at raising funds to improve the health condition of children living in China. Proceeds were channeled to provide medicine, immunization and professional training for medical staff.
We urgently need YOUR HELP to extend immunization to every child, everywhere. Don’t let vaccine-preventable diseases like measles make a comeback and take dangerous hold across the world again.
Commitment to resolve the three burdens of malnutrition
Apart from undernutrition, the three burdens of malnutrition include overweight, as well as hidden hunger which is hardly noticeable. Even children can survive on basic foods, they may not thrive in the coming days, especially in the crucial first 1,000 days of early childhood development. UNICEF is committed to finding solutions to malnutrition. We offer supplement foods to young children in need and provide women and children with micronutrient sprinkles.
'Cash Transfers for Deprived Children' Project
provides basic medical care to children and women in poor areas in China.
UNICEF's Programmes Worldwide
supports UNICEF’s programmes in over 190 countries and territories, including health, nutrition, water and sanitation, education and child protection.
