Project Assistant 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in school-based and youth engagement project by handling project’s administration, operation and coordination, on-going monitoring and evaluation.
  • Deliver school outreach programmes and training workshops for youth and volunteers.
  • Maintain a good relationship with youth volunteers, partners and schools.
  • Assist in preparation and implementation of other advocacy events and programmes of the department as assigned.
  • Support database, logistics and website management.

Requirement

  • Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or above; all disciplines are welcome
  • Strong desire to learn new things and engage with youth
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines
  • Positive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; graphic design and multimedia editing is a plus
  • 5-day work, and willing to take up shift-duty on weekend

Youth Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and execution of a result-driven innovation initiative.
  • Design and implement training modules and participatory pathway with youth, and for youth.
  • Monitor and evaluate work process and outputs to demonstrate work results and impact.
  • Coordinate with volunteers, partners and relevant stakeholders from community, corporates and academics for seamless collaboration and partnership.
  • Plan and monitor promotion and publicity of youth engagement and innovation initiative.

Requirement

  • University graduate with at least 3-4 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in training and facilitation, youth development, social innovation or relevant fields. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Youth Engagement Officer.
  • A good understanding of social innovation and social issues would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proactive, creative, independent; able to work under pressure, long hours and on weekend.
  • Positive team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Immediate available is preferred.
