Director, Corporate Services

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Fully accountable for all the corporate support functions including Finance, Office Administration, Human Resources and Company Secretarial/Council and legal matters
  • Responsible for the full set of finance reporting, auditing and internal control process of the HK Committee
  • Drive process re-engineering for enhanced operation efficiency through working closely with the fundraising, advocacy, communication and innovation departments
  • Champion the budgeting and strategy planning of the HK Committee and coordinate the development of the annual Joint Strategic Plan with all business functions and support departments

 

Requirements

  • Qualified CPA with 15 years of relevant experience
  • Broader management experience besides finance and accounting required: such as company secretary and admin/HR functions
  • Financial Controller and CFO experience preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen expected
  • Good interpersonal skills and aspiration for building teamwork

Senior Officer, Human Resources

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of UNICEF HK’s human capital development strategies

    1. Support the employee life cycle, talent acquisition and employee on- & off-boarding processes
    2. Support employee compensation and benefits duties
    3. Assist to implement key HR projects, staff events and training
    4. Maintain a systematic HR filing system, ensure record management system is up to date and is complied with data privacy policy.
    5. Compile regular HR analysis and reports
    6. Support management with any HR issues that arise
    7. Assist in continuous review and changes of HR policies and procedures
    8. Perform any other job duties as assigned

 

Requirements

    1. Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
    2. 3-5 years of solid working experience in HR and/or administrative role.
    1. Good knowledge of Employment Ordinance and related legislations.
    1. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
    2. Well-organized with excellent attention to details.

Data Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL and/or BI processes 
  • Perform data analysis and build dashboards and visualization reports based on the business requirements
  • Report generation using Excel, VBA, Python or SQL weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually
  • Develop customer segmentations, statistical models to uncover customer behaviour insights
  • Manage vendors to support multiple systems and digital applications, including CRM systems
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives. 
  • Negotiate and manage with different levels of internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Formulate test plans and lead users to perform UAT testing

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree holder or above, preferably in BBA, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in a data analysis role
  • Hands-on experience with ETL and BI tools is a must
  • Hands-on experience in low-code/no-code tools, like Power Automate, is highly preferred
  • Experience in database management is an advantage
  • Experience in CRM/ERP is an advantage
  • Experience in building website traffic dashboards is an advantage
  • Experience in digital transformation / system integration is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Good communication skill in both Chinese and English 
  • Able to work independently

Lead, Corporate Partnerships

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement effective platforms to acquire new partners; build a community of supporters to enhance results; and engage corporate donors, sponsors and partners in a journey of experience with UNICEF’s mission for children.
  • Proactively approach prospects and drive collaborative programmes to solicit financial and non-financial contribution from the corporate partners and corporate foundations.
  • Work closely with different teams in UNICEF HK, headquarters and country offices to pitch and manage local, regional and global partnerships.
  • Assist in planning, assessing and implementing strategies to retain and grow corporate partners
  • Manage operations and logistics related to corporate partnership

 

Requirements

  • Highly independently and result-oriented
  • A self-motivator and self-learner, strong analytical skills
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing, backed by a strong social and professional network
  • Excellent English & Chinese writing skills. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing or fundraising in non-profit organization including relevant experiences with corporate donors. Some regional or global exposure is an advantage
  • A university degree in business, marketing, communication, social development or related disciplines

Officer, Advocacy

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and monitoring on approved advocacy programmes.
  • Support the implementation of policy monitoring and stakeholders mapping with engagement.
  • Building rapports and maintain close relationship with child-related NGOs, universities, experts and government partners, etc. to collaborate programmes to advocate child rights and promote children’s well-being.
  • Support technical expertise and consultant engagement as necessary to validate results and collect expert opinions on advocacy related activities.
  • Assist in other duties assigned by supervisor.

 

Requirements

  • University Graduates, preferable major in social science, policy research or public administration.
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in word processing including Chinese typing.
  • Hands-on experience in MS office such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Senior Manager, Advocacy and Community Outreach

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To develop advocacy strategy and to identify strategic partners in addressing glocal children’s development supported with evidence and outcomes;
  • To formulate, execute and monitor relevant programme details to support and deliver advocacy strategy by setting out clear deliverables and implementation details;
  • Accountable of maximizing and disseminating programme output by connecting with relevant stakeholders and galvanize public momentum;
  • Prepare reports, research and analysis in support of advocacy agenda and priorities;
  • Other advocacy projects as assigned by management.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public policy, social sciences or a relevant field with at least 5 years’ experience in NGO/social service organizations/ community services;
  • Proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese; Good command in MS Office;
  • Demonstrate a strong passion in children and youth work;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships.

Senior Officer, Legacy Giving

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To conduct market research, and to develop marketing strategy and its implementation plan to identify, cultivate and solicit potential planned giving supporters, and steward current planned giving pledgers, i.e. handraiser, considerer, committer, and completer;
  • To project manage all elements of the marketing plan incl. analysis of results;
  • To review the profile and source of planned giving pledgers, and to develop appropriate contact strategies;
  • To develop, execute and monitor planned giving operational plans and manage the planned giving budget, and be responsible for planned gifts and will administration;
  • To monitor performance against budget and where appropriate against external benchmarks, and to ensure that all aspects of planned giving are carried out in the most cost effective and efficient way;
  • To research and assess the ongoing planned giving information needs of planned giving pledgers, and provide efficient and professional stakeholder liaison with relevant third party organizations.
  • Provide support to the team, and other duties as designated.

 

Requirements

  • A self-motivator and self-learner
  • Strong execution power and effective in managing time and resources, incl. agencies and other service providers
  • Strong knowledge of segmentation and targeting prospects, and proficient in proposal writing, fluent in English and Chinese
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with different stakeholders
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, sales or fundraising. Demonstrated experience of developing and implementing planned giving strategies is an advantage.
