On 3 November 2015, community Health Worker (CHW), Hawa Abukar Waladi, based in Salamey Idale IDP camp, goes door to door to spread health messages to mothers and children living in the camp. Hawa works for UNICEF partner, Swiss-Kaalmo, which uses an integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) approach, bringing a package of services in health, nutrition and WASH through health facilities such as mother health centre (MCH) and also CHWs like Hawa. CHWs are based in communities and equipped to treat common childhood diseases such as pneumonia, diarrhoea and measles. With UNICEF support, Swiss-Kaalmo offers services in 87 locations, including 33 IDP camps and 44 villages, reaching nearly 20,000 children
