Manager, Advocacy (Policy and Research)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee advocacy strategies, annual work plans and budget in support of the organization’s mandate and priorities, which include but not limited to advocacy on family friendly policies and early childhood development, mental health of children and adolescents, child rights dissemination and participation;
  • Track and monitor child rights situation, key advocacy moments, related policies and its impacts on children; identify gaps and unmet needs of the children for strategic planning;
  • Plan and conduct global and local comparative research, policy and situational analysis, public engagement survey to generate data and evidence in support of various advocacy agenda and stakeholder engagement;
  • Develop evidence based recommendations, reports, guidelines and standards to support and facilitate stakeholders’ actions for children;
  • Conduct stakeholders mapping and tracking, as well as to liaise with subject experts, community partners and key stakeholders for collaborative actions;
  • Establish social impact assessment framework and tools to capture impact, outcomes and results of the organization’s advocacy work, including child rights education and child participation initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • University graduate with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in the public affairs and partnership, policy research and advocacy, social policy and administration, or any other related fields. Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Manager
  • Substantive experience writing policy papers and carrying out research on child and youth issues would be an advantage
  • Experience of working in a highly complicated social context, and supervising subordinates
  • Proactive, agile, independent; able to work under pressure, long hours and on weekend when necessary
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skill
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Develop and implement a pilot programme to promote adolescents’ mental health in schools;
  • Liaise with subject experts, key stakeholders and community partners for collaborative actions;
  • Revamp and integrate existing school and youth initiatives to maximize engagement, operational efficiency and results;
  • Oversee the development and dissemination of training modules, educational resources and content as required for various education and youth initiatives;
  • Mobilize resources including volunteers and external funds in support of programmatic development and implementation;

Skills & Requirements:

  • University graduate with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience in adolescents’ development, youth and family services, mental health, psychology and counseling, psychosocial programming or related fields. Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and setting up programmes on mental health and resilience for children and young people would be an advantage
  • Experience of working in a highly complicated social context, and supervising a small team of subordinates

Officer, Education and Youth Engagement

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement assigned youth initiatives to nurture long term youth supporters and volunteers;
  • Design and deliver training modules and content to fit the ever-changing needs and interests of adolescents and youth supporters;
  • Maintain good relationship with volunteers, school teachers, principals and partners, and leverage their support to various projects, events or activities;
  • Manage project related budget, expenses, result measurement and evaluation; and be responsible for project related websites and social media channels;

Requirements:

  • University graduate with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in training and facilitation, social sciences related disciplines and youth work
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proactive, creative, independent; able to work under pressure, long hours and on weekend

Project Consultant of Mid-level Donor and Major Donor Fundraising Appeal (6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively drive and deploy resources needed for the Project and achieve maximum outcomes in terms of project delivery;

Requirements:

The position will act highly independently to produce results. He / She is expected to be:

  • At least 8 years of experience in Fundraising, sales and marketing, including relevant experiences with major donors.

Lead, Strategic Partnership and & Philanthropy

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare proposals, informational materials, donor agreements, and etc to secure prospects, and stewardship reports to donors on the use and impact of their gifts.
  • Engage existing and cultivate high networth prospects to grow major donors’ donation commitment.
  • Take part in planning and managing Legacy Giving Programme to grow Legacy Donors commitment
  • Oversee planning, production and execution of events, ensuring agreed objectives are achieved according to the planned timeline
  • Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database (CRM) that underpins the administration of the programme
  • Provide support to the team, e.g. meeting arrangement, establishing assignments, and follow up communications with stakeholders, and other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

 Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting Servicing, Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative support and customer service background with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in relationship management of high net worth customers preferred
  • Able to plan, develop and produce results independently
  • Proactive, creative, independent, strong sense of integrity and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and KPIs
