Lead, Strategic Partnership and & Philanthropy

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare proposals, informational materials, donor agreements, and etc to secure prospects, and stewardship reports to donors on the use and impact of their gifts
  • Engage existing and cultivate high net worth prospects to grow major donors’ donation commitment
  • Take part in planning and managing Legacy Giving Programme to grow Legacy Donors commitment
  • Oversee planning, production and execution of events, ensuring agreed objectives are achieved according to the planned timeline
  • Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database (CRM) that underpins the administration of the programme
  • Provide support to the team, e.g. meeting arrangement, establishing assignments, and follow up communications with stakeholders, and other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time

 Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting Servicing, Business Development, Sales and Marketing
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative support and customer service background with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in relationship management of high net worth customers preferred
  • Able to plan, develop and produce results independently
  • Proactive, creative, independent, strong sense of integrity and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and KPIs

Corporate Partnership Manager

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Devise and implement effective platforms to acquire new partners; build a community of supporters to enhance results; and engage corporate donors and partners in a journey of experience with UNICEF’s humanitarian and development mission for children
  • Proactively approach prospects and drive collaborative programmes to mobilise resources from the private sector and foundations
  • Innovate and lead engagement activities for donors, including forums, talks, donor visits and field trips, and build donors’ knowledge of UNICEF’s programmatic initiatives and impact
  • Plan, assess and implement strategies to retain and grow corporate partners
  • Manage the departmental budget of income and expenditure

 Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, including relevant experiences with corporate donors. Some global exposure is an advantage
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing, backed by a strong social and professional network
  • Strong analytical skills to drive effective results and provide market assessment
  • A self-motivator and self-learner, able to acquire and build knowledge on the job or through UNICEF’s internal resource or market contact and experience

Assistant Manager – Fundraising Operations

Purpose of the Job

Leading a team of 3, the incumbent shall look after daily donation operations for fundraising team across all segments and channels. Supported by our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, the candidate will implement and enhance fundraising operational processes to continuously improve the productivity and effectiveness of the whole fundraising function.

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in compliance to guidelines and legal requirements; from donor information management, donation processing through different channels and platforms and monthly reconciliation
  • Improve operations management processes and establish best practices
  • Oversee report design, development and distribution for daily operations monitoring and management
  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard processes
  • Work closely with other departments including Finance team to ensure successful donation processing and setup of new donation collection methods

 Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree holder, with at least 10 years of experience in operations, over 4 years in supervisory role, preferably related to sales or fundraising
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Proficient in database management through CRM system. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage
  • Committed and with demonstrated ability to maintain high degree of accuracy
  • Attention to details and result oriented, with strong organizational, and problem-solving skills

Assistant Manager – Donor Retention & Service

Purpose of the Job

The position holder is the primary driver and champion for retention and churn reduction of individual donors. Supported by internal manpower and outsourced agencies, this incumbent oversees the donor services function including handling donor enquiries through service calls, emails and letters related to donations and gift processing.

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Create, analyze and maximize existing retention campaigns and appeals; propose and create new initiatives that will increase donor retention, reduce churn of regular giving supporters and maximize donation amounts
  • Oversee and drive improvement of the donor journey in relation to retention through the deployment of channels including email, instant messaging and telemarketing
  • Manage outsourced agencies relating to donor retention and services, addressing and resolving issues, ensuring ROIs and performance are on track
  • Develop and manage a systematic approach, appropriate protocols, and service level agreements related to the handling of donor enquiries, complaints and donation termination to drive donor service excellence
  • Develop and update regular retention reports, draw insights and make recommendations on achieving assigned KPIs
  • Take the centralized role on donor complaint handling to investigate, resolve and escalate complaints received from different channels or platforms in a timely manner
  • Undertake ownership of donor survey from content development to analysis

 Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in retention or customer service, at least 3 years at a supervisory level, preferably with experience in fundraising department
  • Proven experience of planning, implementing and evaluating successful retention programmes
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management and database management. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics will be an advantage
  • Experience of managing a customer/donor care function with a sound understanding of how to create robust process, protocols and service level agreements to underpin high standards of donor care is preferred
  • Result oriented, flexible, patient, donor/customer centric with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proven problem solving and decision making skills with a track record of using good judgment to make decisions that lead to positive outcomes
