Project Consultant of Mid-level Donor and Major Donor Fundraising Appeal (6 weeks)

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively drive and deploy resources needed for the Project and achieve maximum outcomes in terms of project delivery;
  • Regularly updating Management of the progress and issues of concern, if any.

Requirements:

The position will act highly independently to produce results. He / She is expected to be:

  • A self-motivator and self-learner, able to acquire and build knowledge through UNICEF’s internal resource or market contact and experience
  • Excellent English & Chinese writing skills
  • Strong analytical skills to drive effective results
  • At least 8 years of experience in Fundraising, sales and marketing, including relevant experiences with major donors.
  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines

Lead, Strategic Partnership and & Philanthropy

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare proposals, informational materials, donor agreements, and etc to secure prospects, and stewardship reports to donors on the use and impact of their gifts.
  • Engage existing and cultivate high networth prospects to grow major donors’ donation commitment.
  • Take part in planning and managing Legacy Giving Programme to grow Legacy Donors commitment
  • Oversee planning, production and execution of events, ensuring agreed objectives are achieved according to the planned timeline
  • Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database (CRM) that underpins the administration of the programme
  • Provide support to the team, e.g. meeting arrangement, establishing assignments, and follow up communications with stakeholders, and other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

 Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting Servicing, Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative support and customer service background with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in relationship management of high net worth customers preferred
  • Able to plan, develop and produce results independently
  • Proactive, creative, independent, strong sense of integrity and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and KPIs

Lead, Donor Acquisition

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess and develop channels to acquire potential monthly and one-off donors and implement effective fundraising campaigns and products to maximise fundraising results.
  • Monitor and evaluate all acquisition activities and make recommendations to improve future activities and feed into longer term strategic plans.
  • Manage the face-to-face and all other off-line donor recruitment channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital team to drive online donor recruitment.
  • Work with external service providers to produce engaging recruitment and welcome materials.

Requirements:

The position will act highly independently to produce results. S/he is expected to be:

  • A university degree with an analytical mind
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in customer/donor acquisition, business development, sales and channel marketing, or related experiences
  • Result oriented and KPI driven
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with multiple stakeholders
