Lead, Corporate Partnerships

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement effective platforms to acquire new partners; build a community of supporters to enhance results; and engage corporate donors, sponsors and partners in a journey of experience with UNICEF’s humanitarian and development mission for children.
  • Proactively approach prospects and drive collaborative programmes to solicit financial and non-financial contribution from the corporate partners and corporate foundations.
  • Working closely with different teams in UNICEF HK, headquarter and country offices to pitch and manage local, regional and global partnerships.
  • Assist in planning, assessing and implementing strategies to retain and grow corporate partners
  • Manage operations and logistics related to corporate partnership

Requirements

  • Highly independently to produce results
  • A self-motivator and self-learner, able to acquire and build knowledge on the job or through UNICEF’s internal resource or market contact and experience
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing, backed by a strong social and professional network
  • Excellent English & Chinese writing skills. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to drive effective results and provide market assessment
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing or fundraising in non-profit organisation including relevant experiences with corporate donors. Some regional or global exposure is an advantage
  • A university degree in business, marketing, communication, social development or related disciplines

Data Engineer / Data Specialist

Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports of Power BI to help stakeholders/users across different functions; perform troubleshooting and issue tracking on the dashboard system;
  2. Analyze relevant data including, but not limited to, finance, affiliate marketing, paid marketing performance on social channels and MS Dynamics CRM;
  3. Use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data;
  4. Build end-to-end data pipelines including data collection, transformation, quality and integration solutions to facilitate data & analytics solutions; Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
  5. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into performance, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.

  7. Oversee and manage the work-flow of data quality management, data exchange and data cleansing processes by designing and implementing different rules and best practices;
  8. Supervised by Senior Manager in Digital Solutions for designing and continuously refining platform offerings and architecture;
  9. Report to Director of Digital Operations on product and service launch, capacity management and operational review in order to promote data management best practices in the organization.

Skills & Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of solid working experience engaging in projects which related to Power BI, data modeling, data analysis and dashboard building;
  2. Professional on database technology on Database including MS SQL Server;
  3. Professional on Microsoft Cloud technology on Azure about data, e.g. Azure SQL, Azure data factory, Azure data lake;
  4. Professional on Power BI architect/design/implementation;
  5. Working experience in using digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Social Media listening tools, etc.), social media integration (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, eDM, etc.) and payment gateways, is highly advantageous;
  6. Graduate qualifications in data science, computer science, information system, engineering, digital technology, or related disciplines;
  7. Good communication skill in both Chinese and English;
  8. Passion on technology, good team work;
  9. Able to work independently and under pressure, as well as supervise offshore developers on development work.
  10. Experience on Machine Learning and AI technology is highly advantageous.

Fundraising Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop channels to acquire potential monthly and one-off donors and implement fundraising campaigns and products to maximise fundraising results.
  • Manage Individual Giving acquisition budget in line with objectives and KPIs
  • Monitor all acquisition activities and make recommendations to improve future activities and feed into longer term strategic plans.
  • Manage the face-to-face and all other off-line donor recruitment channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital team to drive online donor recruitment, and attract potential donors.
  • Build and develop successful partnerships with external suppliers and manage their performance.
  • Train, and monitor the performance of face-to-face and telemarketing agencies’ fundraisers to ensure fundraisers working on HKCU’s behalf adhere to the organization’s standards and industry best practice.

Requirements

The position will act highly independently to produce results. S/he is expected to be:

Finance Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • This is a key role that reports to the Director, Corporate Services to enhance the corporate governance and operational efficiency of the operation system while carrying out the finance function effectively. The responsibilities include:
    • Manage and produce a full set of accounts, month-end and year-end management and headquarter reports, financial forecast, annual budgeting and financial analysis
    • Maintain sound internal control and effectiveness for financial management
    • Manage bank accounts and forecast of cash flows
    • Coordinate annual statutory audit and audit for fundraising events

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with a degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Minimum 6 years of audit and accounting experience with analytical skills and good attention to details
  • A good team player who is committed and self-motivated and have a can-do attitude
  • Mature and independent, with a capacity to work on tight deadlines with great sense of integrity and responsibility
  • Proficient in Excel and sound knowledge in using accounting software

Fundraising Manager (Events)

Purpose of the job

To achieve the assigned annual fundraising target by organizing events as platforms to solicit donations directly or indirectly from individual, corporate and philanthropic donors.  To manage a team to oversee the delivery of planned and approved fundraising events to ensure the delivery is efficient, effective and within budget. The position is also expected to grow the events with new and innovative fundraising ideas.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop sustainable events strategies in line with the overall fundraising strategy and adopt best practices where possible to support fundraising targets
  • Solicit direct donations by organizing fundraising events or developing activities to enhance fundraising effectiveness of other teams.
  • Lead and manage projects effectively and efficiently as per agreed plan. Work closely with other Fundraising teams and Departments for best coordination in delivering results and deployment of possible resources
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of all existing events products to propose, plan and get approval for projects to meet agreed objectives for all fundraising areas
  • Keep abreast of market trend and practices to propose new initiatives and continue improving project delivery.  Work closely with other Fundraising teams in the department to develop new and creative events to approach different target group of supporters to enhance their reach and fundraising capability
  • Evaluate vendors and agencies to ensure their cost-effectiveness and implement measures to increase project profitability and yield to achieve the highest ROI
  • Monitor and follow through spending to ensure that it is within the agreed and approved budget
  • Provide directions, support and training to team members to create a high performing team with the collaborative spirit

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree holder with at least 12 years of experience in project management, including relevant experience of managing large-scale events.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
  • The ability to be a proactive self-starter and to use initiative to resolve problems and create solutions to improve results
  • Proven ability to work according to timeline and milestones, and work independently, multi-task, while meeting tight deadlines
