Lead, Strategic Partnership and & Philanthropy

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Prepare proposals, informational materials, donor agreements, and etc to secure prospects, and stewardship reports to donors on the use and impact of their gifts.
  • Engage existing and cultivate high networth prospects to grow major donors’ donation commitment.
  • Take part in planning and managing Legacy Giving Programme to grow Legacy Donors commitment
  • Oversee planning, production and execution of events, ensuring agreed objectives are achieved according to the planned timeline
  • Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database (CRM) that underpins the administration of the programme
  • Provide support to the team, e.g. meeting arrangement, establishing assignments, and follow up communications with stakeholders, and other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

 Requirements

  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, Social Development or related disciplines
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting Servicing, Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative support and customer service background with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in relationship management of high net worth customers preferred
  • Able to plan, develop and produce results independently
  • Proactive, creative, independent, strong sense of integrity and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and KPIs

Manager, Corporate Alliance

This position is expected to develop strategies and implement programmes to mobilize the private sector resources and corporate partnerships in Hong Kong to fulfill UNICEF’s humanitarian and development missions for children in need.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement effective platforms to acquire new partners; build a community of supporters to enhance results; and engage corporate donors and partners in a journey of experience with UNICEF’s humanitarian and development mission for children.
  • Proactively approach prospects and drive collaborative programmes to mobilize resources from the private sector and foundations to meet UNICEF’s life-saving and developmental work for children and support emergency relief and preparedness initiatives.
  • Innovate and lead engagement activities for donors, including forums, talks, donor visits and field trips, and build donors’ knowledge of UNICEF’s programmatic initiatives and impact.

Requirements

The position will act highly independently to produce results. He / She is expected to be:

  • A self-motivator and self-learner, able to acquire and build knowledge on the job or through UNICEF’s internal resource or market contact and experience
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communications and marketing, backed by a strong social and professional network
  • Excellent English & Chinese writing skills. Able to write and present proposals effectively
  • Strong analytical skills to drive effective results and provide market assessment
  • At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, including relevant experiences with corporate donors. Some global exposure is an advantage

Lead, Donor Acquisition

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess and develop channels to acquire potential monthly and one-off donors and implement effective fundraising campaigns and products to maximise fundraising results.
  • Monitor and evaluate all acquisition activities and make recommendations to improve future activities and feed into longer term strategic plans.
  • Manage the face-to-face and all other off-line donor recruitment channels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital team to drive online donor recruitment.
  • Work with external service providers to produce engaging recruitment and welcome materials.

Requirements:

The position will act highly independently to produce results. S/he is expected to be:

  • A university degree with an analytical mind
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in customer/donor acquisition, business development, sales and channel marketing, or related experiences
  • Result oriented and KPI driven
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with multiple stakeholders

Manager, Programme and Research – A 3-month short term contract

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement a situational analysis for the organization by interviewing and arranging focus groups with different stakeholders, such as children, young people, parents/caregivers, frontline workers and related constituencies including professional and government-affiliated bodies or units.
  2. Deploy the study according to the organization’s strategic focus, guidelines and ethical research standards, and develop the methodology and tools required for the study.
  3. Build capacity of volunteers and supervise them as appropriate to ensure fulfillment of research quality, standards and compliance.
  4. Oversee desktop research and review on global and local theoretical framework, best practices and related secondary data by taking into consideration of local contextual situation.
  5. Process and analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected for report writing, and informing a list of recommendation for the organization’s short- and medium-term advocacy and programmatic work.

Skills & Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 8-10 years’ relevant working experience in the mental health, psychology and counseling, psychosocial programming, and related fields; and having experience in working with children and adolescents.
  • Substantive experience carrying out research on child and youth issues.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and setting up programmes for children and young people to promote mental health and resilience would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a highly complicated social context.
  • Training experience required.
  • Proactive, agile, independent; able to work under pressure, long hours and on weekend when necessary.
  • Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources.
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skill.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Immediate available is preferred.

Project Lead, Fundraising Events

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for driving project outcomes, developing and tracking project plans and identifying risks to delivery, along with a plan to mitigate them
  • Monitor and follow through spending to ensure it is within agreed and approved budget. And work closely with other Fundraising teams and Departments for best coordination in delivering results and deployment of possible resources (including external parties, vendors, agencies and event supporters/volunteers)
  • Develop effective communications and briefings to ensure key stakeholders are updated within agreed timeframes
  • Lead the implementation of assigned projects of ongoing major fundraising events effectively and efficiently as per agreed plan
  • Provide support to the team, and other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time

Requirements

The position will act highly independently to produce results. He / She is expected to be:

  1. A university degree in business, marketing, or related disciplines
  2. At least 8 years of experience in project management, including relevant experiences of management large scale events
  3. Goal-oriented self-starter who is able to be both a proactive leader and a hands-on participant in a collaborative work environment focused on achieving results
  4. Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation
  5. Proven ability to work according to timeline and milestones, and to work independently, multi-task, while meeting tight deadlines
