Analyst Programmer

Role and Responsibilities 

The position mainly participates in the setup, design, maintenance, implementation and operation of IT infrastructure, payment gateway, data and security systems on cloud or on on-prem platforms for Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (hereafter HKCU). He / She will also monitor the digital security solutions and respond to incidents or problems in order to avoid downtime and ensure systems operate efficiently and capacity attains current and future needs.

    • Work on product development based on new technologies that involve any combination of app, device, web front-end, APIs, data streams, various databases and downstream data systems.
    • Participate in the analysis, designing, coding, exploratory testing, deployment, documentation for the enhancement and maintenance of the customer relationship database in Microsoft Dynamic 365, data mining, analytics tools, payment gateways and cyber security solutions;
    • Develop and maintain system and applications, as well as perform coding, testing and debugging in different stages of digital solution channels;
    • Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with security policies and standards;
    • Formulate and design optimized solutions to achieve business goals of systems;

Skills & Requirements

    • Graduate qualifications in computer science, information system, engineering, digital technology, or related disciplines;
    • With at least 2 years of experience in project management, software development, system integration, and solution delivery projects
    • Love programming and enjoy building quality software;
    • Development experience in .Net framework, C#, is a must. Experience in Java, MS/PL SQL, or Python would be a significant advantage;
    • Experience in Application and System Security management, as well as User-side security solutions and Identity Access Management, would be an added advantage
    • Able to work independently and under pressure
    • Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills in both English and Chinese

IT Officer

Job Description 

    • Perform technical support on network, system, software and application systems
    • Provide regular system/data backup and data sychronisation/recovery where applicable
    • Maintain Domain user accounts
    • Liaise, coordinate and monitor with service providers and responsible for on daily operation and on a project basis as assigned
    • Provide helpdesk support and solution to end users (including installation and configuration)
    • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory record of hardware, software and license and contracts of service providers
    • Recommend and implement infrastructure solutions according to the company standard
    • Handle ad-hoc IT relates tasks and require to work during non-office hours if necessary

Skills & Requirements

    • Certificate in Information Technology or equivalent

Manager, Individual Giving

Role and Responsibilities 

Planning

    • Produce annual plans, budgets and KPIs for Individual Giving income generation including acquisition (cash appeals, regular giving, Face-to-Face/telemarketing) and cultivation, solicitation. Contribute to overall Individual Giving strategy and team development.
    • Regularly monitor performance and evaluate plans and budgets, taking effective action where necessary and ensure that appropriate reporting, monitoring and evaluation of activities takes place.

Solicitations

    • Increase income generated from individual giving fundraising activities towards individual and medium level donor groups
    • Lead the development and management of donor recruitment campaigns that successfully inspire new supporters to support our work and join our cause.
    • Establish and maintain a highly engaging individual donor cultivation program to identify and increase new monthly donors and to increase giving levels of existing donors;
    • Manage a continuous cycle of testing new channels and developing donor acquisition and engagement programs, based on audience insight and sector trends
    • Monitor that Individual Giving activity is in line with compliance and best practice
    • Foster strategic and tactical relationships with key external agencies, suppliers and stakeholders as required.

Donor Lifecycle Marketing

    • Develop, implement and continuously monitor tailored supporter journeys for different audience segments

Team Management & Coaching

    • Provide management and guidance to direct reports, in order to ensure that IG team KPIs and objectives are achieved and that direct reports each have a clear personal development plan.
    • Effective line management, professional support and personal development

 Requirements

    • Undergraduate degree holder with at least 12 years of experience, at least 5 years at a supervisory level in fundraising with a focus on individual donors.
    • Strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
    • Considerable experience of preparing programmes and business plans to recruit, engage, inspire and cultivate donors
    • Experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy.
    • Knowledge of budgets and experience of reporting financial performance against targets
    • Demonstrable ability to line manage a small team and to lead and inspire others to deliver against targets and objectives
    • Ability to work across teams and departments in a collaborative manner and to proactively engage colleagues on projects and initiatives
    • The ability to be a proactive self-starter and to use initiative to resolve problems and create solutions to improve results
    • Result oriented, flexible, patient, donor/customer centric with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
    • Proven problem solving and decision making skills with a track record of using good judgment to make decisions that lead to positive outcomes.

Assistant Manager, Digital Fundraising

Role and Responsibilities 

    • Assist Senior Manager – Digital in developing strategy and business plans for all aspects of new monthly donor acquisition.
    • Manage acquisition campaigns across multiple channels including: digital, two-step tele-fundraising & lead generation etc.
    • Work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners to execute robust lead generation & conversion programs.
    • Lead in external partner relationships including: communication, reporting, and regular business reviews.
    • Participate and Develop creatives according to the cross-team marketing & communication plans.
    • Design automated communication flows for direct conversion or through other channels for ongoing nurturing.
    • Perform analysis on campaign metrics to enable quicker reaction time for program optimization, gap closing and planning.
    • Provide ongoing KPI evaluation, reporting and results optimization.
    • Manage all relevant budgets including: program costs, resource allocation & financial forecasts.

Strategic & Operational Planning

    • Work with the internal stakeholders to develop the overall strategy, annual plan and budget for the Lead Generation and Acquisition plan with a focus on managing the overall ROI.
    • Lead in annual contract negotiation processes with agencies.
    • Recommend new acquisition strategies, channels and tactics.
    • Assess and work out best practices with UNICEF pledge specialists and other UNICEF National Committees.
    • Provide annual forecast and revenue and expense calendarization of activities within annual operating plan.
    • Manage documentation regarding expenses, legal agreements/contracts & donor documentation are up to date and accurate.

 Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience on performance based digital marketing and/or online customer/donor acquisition.
    • A university degree in Marketing or related discipline.
    • Strategic & analytical thinking with an understanding of the key drivers of donor acquisition ROI & long term value.
    • Experienced in managing multiple internal & external partners to deliver programs and results.
    • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi–task to deliver quality programs on time and on budget.
    • Strong ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis
    • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English
