Officer, Sustainable Funds

Responsible for the implementation of a range of fundraising programs from planned giving to public events to support UNICEF’s global work. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

I. Planned Giving

  • Responsible for planned gifts and will administration.
  • Assist in identifying, cultivating and soliciting potential planned giving supporters, and steward current planned giving pledgers.
  • Assist in project managing all elements of the marketing plan incl. analysis of results.

 

II. Event Fundraising

  • Provide secretariat support, including but not limited to outreach and interact effectively and capably with the targeted audience.
  • Maintain organized and efficient records of all marketing materials and reports.
  • Assist in developing event marketing materials, liaising with service providers to ensure marketing materials production and service delivery in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Assist in coordinating all resources (including external parties, vendors, agencies and event supporters/volunteers) for the roll-out of the plan.

 

III. Provide support to the team, and other duties as designated.

 

Requirements

The position will act highly independently to produce results. He / She is expected to be:

  • A self-motivator and self-learner, able to acquire and build knowledge on the job or through UNICEF’s internal resource or market contact and experience
  • Proven ability to work according to timeline and milestones, and to work independently, multi-task, while meeting tight deadlines
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese 
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with different stakeholders
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management or fundraising.
  • A university degree in business, marketing or related disciplines
